o Shape Modes and Pathfinder palette
o Drawing complex Bezier shapes
o Tips for drawing better curves
o Dealing with object attributes
o Use Expand Appearance to modify individual elements
o Custom Brushes:

Calligraphy, Scatter or Art, to place objects along a path
o Paths – Manipulating, Editing, Simple & Cleaned Up
o Setting and working with anchor points
o Graphs - use your own artwork instead of a simple bar

· Modifying Images
o Envelope Distort & other forms of Warping objects
o Advanced design with Clipping Mask
o Blend shapes or groups for advanced compositions
o Live Effects vs Filters
o Create drop shadows and glows using Live Effects
o The transform and Scribble effects
o The Appearance panel
o Use Gradient Mesh to add 3D effects to 2D graphics

o Creating high resolution PDF files
o Creating separations - Spot colour vs. Process colour

o Creating, applying and modifying Styles
o Explore Links & Actions palettes
o Export to Flash (.SWF)
o Use Symbols to create elements used repeatedly in animations and complex images
o Use the ‘Release to Layers’ command to distribute all of the objects on a layer onto separate, individual layers for web animations
o Creating Smart objects
o Drag-and-drop and export layers into Photoshop
