About Autodesk Maya Foundation

Maya training at ArmadaAutodesk Maya Foundation training (3 days) teaches new users the mechanics of Maya, enabling you to create 3D graphics for print or animation.

Whilst the course is primarily generic, where appropriate the exercises carried out are relevant to your work or industry whether it be game development, film/television, or visualisation as an architect, designer or engineer.

On completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Work in a production environment
  • Create 3D models using a variety of techniques
  • Work with materials to texture your models
  • Create animations
  • Stage a scene and understand cinematography
  • Create output for use in post production

      Training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.

      This is an Autodesk-authorised course, run by an Autodesk Maya Certified Trainer. Delegates receive Autodesk Official Training Courseware, the most comprehensive Maya training materials available.

      Autodesk Maya Foundation course information

      Scheduled Autodesk Maya Foundation courses are based on Maya 2011, although most of the techniques taught are relevant to all recent releases. If you are using a different version of the application, the trainer will be happy to spend time looking at this with you during the course.

      On-demand courses (for your group) can be run on any recent version of Maya, including 2011.

      Training venue

      Scheduled Autodesk Maya Foundation courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands.

      On-demand Autodesk Maya Foundation courses (for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

      Outcome / Qualification etc.

      We are an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Autodesk Maya Foundation training course is accredited by Autodesk. Delegates receive an industry recognised e-certificate from Autodesk to confirm they have attended and successfully completed an accredited Maya training course.

      Continuing studies

      Following Autodesk Maya Foundation training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from Armada to help with any post-training issues.

      Expenses

      Scheduled Autodesk Maya Foundation course (3 days): £595 + VAT per delegate. This price is inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch. Discounts available for multiple bookings.

      On-demand Autodesk Maya Foundation course, exclusively for your group (3 days): £1,495 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £100 + VAT per subsequent delegate. This is for a course hosted in Bromsgrove. Please 'Request information' for a price for running this course at your venue, or any other options you may be considering.
