Android Overview and Introduction
The course gives an introduction to the Android application development environment. The participants will learn how to write and build a simple application. We will look at important development concepts in Android and what you should think of in order to write efficient applications in Android. The participants will use the Android SDK and debug environment. We take a good look at these tools and how they can be best used. Among others we look at DDMS, Android Debug Bridge and HierarchyViewer.
Objectives of the course
To get an introduction to application development in Android. To efficiently be able to debug these applications and use the tools included with the Android SDK. To learn hints and tricks that leads to writing efficient applications.
Course material
Included in the course is our original material in English. The course can be given in English or Swedish.
