Autodesk Inventor Essentials
Autodesk Inventor Essentials training (4 days) provides new Inventor users with the essential knowledge required to design 3D parametric parts and assemblies. On completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Capture design intent using proper techniques and recommended workflows for creating intelligent 3D paramedic parts.
- Create, place and constrain custom and standard components in an assembly.
- Simulate mechanisms, animate assembly designs and check for interferences.
- Document designs using base, projected, section, detail and isometric drawing views.
- Document assemblies using standard and exploded drawing views.
- Follow drafting standards while dimensioning and annotating drawing views with automated balloons and parts lists.
Training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.
This is an Autodesk-authorised course, run by an Autodesk Certified Instructor (ACI). Delegates receive Autodesk Official Training Courseware, the most comprehensive Inventor training materials available.

Suitability and application
Autodesk Inventor Essentials training is ideal for new users of Autodesk Inventor.
Prerequisites: Delegates should have a working knowledge of a CAD application, such as AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit.

Course information
Scheduled Autodesk Inventor training courses are based on Inventor 2012, although most of the techniques taught are relevant to all recent releases of Inventor. If you are using a different version of Inventor, the trainer will be happy to spend time looking at this with you during the course.
On-demand Autodesk Inventor courses for groups can be run on any recent version including Inventor 10, 11, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Training venue
Scheduled Autodesk Inventor Essentials courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands.
On-demand Autodesk Inventor Essentials courses (for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

Autodesk e-certificate
We are an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Autodesk Inventor Essentials course is accredited by Autodesk. Delegates receive an industry recognised e-certificate from Autodesk to confirm they have attended and successfully completed an accredited Inventor training course.
Inventor professional certification
Autodesk offers a program of professional certification for which Armada is an authorised Autodesk Certification Centre (ACC). Delegates have the option of taking an exam, either at the end of their course or on a later date, in order to gain 'Autodesk-certified' status in Inventor.
Expenses
Scheduled Autodesk Inventor Essentials course (4 days): £795 + VAT per delegate. This price is inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch. Discounts available for multiple bookings.
On-demand Autodesk Inventor Essentials course, exclusively for your group (4 days): £1,995 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £100 + VAT per subsequent delegate. This is for a course hosted in Bromsgrove. Please 'Request information' for a price for running this course at your venue, or any other options you may be considering.
