The Oracle Forms Web Deployment course is designed to give delegates practical experience in deploying and running Oracle Forms Applications from release 9i on the web or a company intranet.
The delegates will practise:
- Testing Oracle Forms using runform.htm
- Deploying Oracle Forms for End-Users
- Creating application-specific configurations
- Deploying Custom Images and Icons
- Setting default environment variables and fonts
- Using the Jinitiator Control Panel
- Implementing techniques to improve performance
Software development personnel who need an understanding of the various ways in which Oracle Forms Applications may be customised for deployment on the web.
Experience of building Oracle Forms applications is essential; some knowledge of HTML and web technology may also prove useful.
To provide the skills needed to configure the Oracle Forms Servlet configuration files and successfully deploy web-based Oracle Forms applications.
An Appendix covers Oracle Forms compatibility and migration issues.
Practical experience in developing basic Oracle Forms applications from release 9i onwards is required.
